DVD to iPad Mac(Mountain Lion Included)

Upon receiving my iPad, I have spent a bunch of time figuring out how to get my DVD collection onto my iPad so I can watch DVD movies on iPad. The following are steps process I've come up with to do this.

Program We Need

During the time, I have come up with DVD to iPad Mac Ripper that I can use to achieve the DVD to iPad conversion on Mac. The program is not free, but works like a charm even on Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion! For a PC user, please refer to DVD to iPad Converter for Windows.

Step by step guide: Rip DVD to iPad on Mac

Step 1: Download, install and run Mac DVD to iPad Ripper.

Step 2: Click the "Load DVD" or "Load IFO" button to load DVD folders/IFO files to the program.

Step 3: Select the video/audio format you want from the "Profile" drop down list. ie. "Apple iPad >iPad MPEG4 Video (*.mp4)".

Step 4: Set the output destination from "Destination".

 

Step 5: Click the big "Convert" button to start ripping DVD to iPad on Mac. The amount of time it takes will depend on the file format and size of the DVD but it will take a while no matter what.
